GPC SEC components: |
|
![]() |
Viscotek offer a full range of dedicated chromatography components optimised for SEC and GPC. Each component is available on its own, as add-ons to existing systems from any manufacturer or as modular systems. These start with noise free LC pumps designed for biopolymer in aqueous SEC and for polymer in solvent applications. Then fixed volume and variable volume injectors and several autosamplers. But also essential accessories like degassers to ensure stable baselines. We also have a special offer for the next 3 months of a basic Isochratic GPC system at a discount with all the bits you may need. Download details here. |
Complete GPC SEC systems: |
|
| Viscotek also make a
range of complete systems optimised for GPC use with all the
hardware you need. These include the pumps, injector or autosampler, the detectors required for the application and of course the software for control and for data processing. The GPA max is the core component of any system - an optimised pump/injector chromatography system. The TDAmax is the most complete solution with a full Triple detector and the GPC max. The RImax offers a package of the GPC max with an RI detector for conventional GPC. The 270max is the base modular system for GPC at room temperature. |

GPC SEC detectors |
|
| Viscotek design and manufacture the
widest possible selection of detectors for SEC and GPC. Conventionally in GPC, analysts use RI detectors as mass detectors and sometimes UV detectors. But Viscotek advocate adding to these and others to gain more information - like Intrinsic Viscosity, Hydrodynamic Size, true Molecular Weights and more, like dn/dc and branching/conformation and structural information . And all this with the chromatographic separation so you can fully analyse your peaks with full corrections for spatial separation. The sensors themselves can be obtained as individual detectors, in pairs (dual viscosity and Light Scattering) or in triple detector packages with RI as well (TDA) or even as a tetra detector (Tetra) with UV as well. The UV detection now offers full multi angle PDA detection for more detail in structural analysis. With light scattering there are conventional 90 degree systems (RALLS) for large MWts and 7 degree detection (LALLS) for small isotropic scatters- usually in combination with RALLS. The use of LALLS at such a low angle is industry leading and ensures correct intercept calculations. Indeed these angles together outperform more populate MALLS detectors where the extra information is at too high angles to be useful for biopolymers. |

Dilute Solution Viscosity |
|
| Viscotek is the only manufacturer capable
of supplying you with a comprehensive system solution, regardless of
your viscosity testing requirements. Whether you require a manual system for limited throughput requirements or the ultimate in automation, safety and repeatability, Viscotek has the dilute solution viscosity system to meet your needs. Of course, all the systems are based on Dr Max Haney's original 4 capillary differential viscometer design; the industry standard for viscosity detection. In its latest version this instrument is still the market leader. |

High Temperature (HT)
GPC applications. Organic Solvent and Polymer ■ HHR-Series Columns for non-polar polymers ■ I-Series Column for intermediate polar polymers ■ G-Series Column for highly polar polymers Aqueous Solvent and Polymer ■ PWXL-Series Columns for neutral polymers ■ C-Series for cationic polymers ■ A-Series for anionic polymers. Viscotek offers a full line of GPC standards for natural and synthetic polymer applications. PolyCAL™ Standards were developed as part of our commitment to provide "Complete Solutions for GPC/SEC Applications". PolyCAL™ Standards free GPC users from tedious standard preparation tasks by providing pre-weighed portions that are both accurate and easy to use. |
