The
General purpose digital Refractometers: The classic GPR series feature a compact design and robust waterproof construction, with raised display to make cleaning easy and to avoid spillage damage. There are no moving parts to wear out and the LED light source ensures long maintenance free life. The synthetic sapphire prism is virtually impossible to damage. Temperature control from 5~70C is possible with a water bath and a recalculating sample cover. Readout over the 1.32 to 1.68RI range is from 0.0001 to 0.00001 depending on the model. |

The Peltier controlled digital Refractometers: The more advanced PTR series offer electronic Peltier temperature control as standard. The temperature range is 15C to 50C and the sensing range from 1.32 to 1.68 RI. There are 4 models with differing performance and controls: The PTR2a and PTR46 have been designed to give an accuracy of 1 in the 4th decimal place of RI over the full range. The 'X' models (the PTR2aX and PTR46X) give an enhanced accuracy to 5 in the 5th decimal place of RI over the range 1.32 to 1.45 with only slightly reduced accuracy to 1.68 RI. |
