Particular Sciences offers customers various training options:

• E- training:
  • Currently only available with Malvern Instruments and for Diffraction
  • A self place course over the internet, in modules with assessments
  • Details on the FAQ download on the Left
  • Cost €540 vat extra
  • Certificate of Competence provided

• On site Training:
  • Training of the users with the instrument, in your own lab with your samples and methods.
  • This can be tailored to include topics to suite your exact needs
• Training by PSL personnel
• Groups of 2 ~ 6 users and typically 1 day courses
• Price based on time on site, travel & costs  (from €900 to €3,600 vat extra include PSL costs)
• Training Schools:
  • Central courses in PSL or suitable hotel or college
  • groups of 10 to 20 users
  • from 1 to 3 days
  • Theory and practical tailored to the attendees
  • presentations by PSL and the principals
  • User assessments included
  • Course resource material included
  • Prices usually fixed (typically €900 vat extra/ attendee, free place available to new customers), hotel & local travel extra
• Full 5 day courses
  • Held in the UK, European or US HQ of the instrument manufacturer
  • Full basic theory
  • Instrument design, Full Software overviews, Methods, User Assessments
  • Prices vary from FOC to €1,500 with airfares, hotel extra
